University of Dallas
Rome and Summer Programs
The University of Dallas is dedicated to the pursuit of wisdom, truth, and virtue as the proper and primary ends of liberal education. UD students share a formative experience in studying the great deeds and words of Western civilization with the Catholic intellectual tradition. Building on 50 years of informed study-travel in our flagship Rome program, our summer and study abroad programs take this mission to heart, extending classroom study to ancient sites which gave birth to brilliant ideas. History comes alive, as students are introduced firsthand to some of the world's most extraordinary works and places.
Pre-College ProgramsOur summer programs for middle and high school students reflect the educational philosophy and disciplines of the university and offer enrichment in great texts, music, art, and mathematical inquiry. High school participants may also choose from study abroad options in Rome. While some programs offer college credit, all programs help prepare you for college, led by our experienced university faculty. |
Undergraduate ProgramsWhat better way to enrich learning than by keeping academic standards high and immersing students in unforgettable travel experiences. Undergraduates have the opportunity to study in a variety of countries with a range of courses in art history, history, language, literature, philosophy, and theology. |
Adult ProgramsEmbark on a journey of a lifetime. Engage in stimulating and enlightening conversation, enhance your worldview and create lasting friendships. You can join a tour of Italy or Russia or earn graduate credit taking courses in theology or Classical Education. |
